EXCLUSIVE: Soundarya Sharma calls Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 5 ‘a mega film’; says, “It’s different from anything we’ve seen in the franchise”

Soundarya Sharma is an Indian actress. She made her acting debut with the romantic drama Ranchi Diaries in 2017. In 2022, she participated in Colors TV’s reality show Bigg Boss 16. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Soundarya Sharma says Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 5 is a mega film and is a different film.

When asked about what is she currently working on, Soundarya Sharma said, “I’m currently shooting for Housefull 5, and I’m very thrilled and excited about it because, after so many years of hard work, something significant has finally clicked. Of course, every bit of work I’ve done and the small steps I’ve taken so far have been an important part of my journey. But yes, who wouldn’t want to see themselves on the big screen? So, yes, this is just the beginning.”

Even though the Ranchi Diaries actress isn’t allowed to speak much, she reveals that the film will be filled with laughter. “I’m not allowed to reveal much, but I can say this—it’s full of laughter and fun. Right, it’s going to be a mega, mega film with so many surprises that you won’t believe it. You can’t even imagine! The film is larger than life, and now that I’m part of it, I know. And it’s different from anything we’ve seen so far across all four franchises,” Sharma remarked.

Soundarya concluded, “This time, the story of Housefull 5—it’s okay, carry on—it’s different from all the other Housefull films; it’s a blast. It’s a bombastic mega-film. This is what I can tell you as an audience member if I want to see it as a fan. As a fan and an audience member, I can tell you, it has truly increased the excitement!”
